8 Shots of Scotch Whisky in a Can

If you desire the portability of an airline bottle but yearn for the capacity of a flask you’re in luck– distiller Scottish Spirits will soon be packaging three-year-old whisky in a can.

Dubbed “scotch in a can,” its makers are promising a taste “rich in honey, vanilla, butterscotch, apples and pears with a nice hint of peat and smoke in the background. “

A spokeswoman for Scottish Spirits Imports told ABC News that they put the whisky in the can for “the need for convenience factor: people can take this boating, poolside, or to a football tailgating party without bringing a glass bottle.”

One can of scotch has a suggested retail price of $5.00.
