Paula Deen Roundup

The food world is buzzing with the announcement by Food Network star Paula Deen that she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes three years ago.   Even Anthony Bourdain weighed in on the matter, taking to twitter to say:

For the record, we weren’t surprised by the announcement but we were surprised at her new business partner… a diabetic drug company.  We are scratching our heads on that one.
