Second Cheapest Wine

Admit it, we’ve all done it, we’ve all ordered the second cheapest wine at a restaurant in order to “not look cheap.”

In honor of this common practice, the folks at College Humor have created a spoof commercial for the popular “Second Cheapest Wine.”

We’ve reached out to a sommelier friend of ours to get his thoughts on the practice.  He says you should feel no shame in ordering the cheapest wine on the list.  A good restaurant puts a lot of thought into their wine list and because of this more often than not some of the best finds can found in the cheapest category.

So we want to know, are you guilty of ordering the second cheapest wine?
