Chef Marcus Samuelsson On Opening More Restaurants

Chef Marcus Samuelsson says he’s done with opening new restaurants, at least for now.
Speaking to The Daily Bruin the “Top Chef Masters” winner says he’s going to focus on his cooking and writing (Samuelsson just released his memoir, “Yes Chef“). Here’s what he had to say about opening up a West Coast outpost:
“No. … Red Rooster just opened and it’s a new engagement for us and we feel like we have a lot to give, and … it’s not about opening brand new restaurants all the time. Red Rooster took a long time for me to craft, five years.”
