World’s Largest McDondald’s Ready To Open

One of the attractions at the London Olympic Games– the world’s largest McDonald’s.

Located right in the middle of Olympic park, the two-story, 3,000 square foot restaurant will be able to serve up to 1,200 customers an hour.  The building is McDonald’s first sustainable restaurant and was designed so that it could be easily taken down after the Games.

McDonald’s estimates they will serve 1.75 million meals during the Olympic and Paralympic games.  Five-hundred of the company’s top UK employees will be staffing the mega-restaurant.  The mega chain will have such a strong presence during the Olympics organizers say one in ten meals eaten at venues will be from McDonald’s.
