Food Porn: Scrapple

Mmmmhmmmm, pig offal.

Scrapple, we love it, it’s tasty and it honestly doesn’t have that irony liver taste.

Never heard of the dish?  Here’s a quick rundown.  Scrapple is traditionally a mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal, flour and spices. The mush is then formed into a patty and cooked.  The dish is particularly popular in the Mid-Atlantic, but it also has Southern roots.
