Food Porn: Maryland Prawn

What does “New American cuisine inspired by the eastern seaboard, paired with craft cocktails and brew” look like?  Well, it looks a little bit like this.

The above photo was taken by John Placko at Toronto’s “Acadia.”  The dish is described as “Maryland prawn, pecan butter, rhubarb purée, confit wild cherry.”  The dish is an appetizer that sells for $14.
