A runaway truck forced a restaurant yet to be featured on the Food Network’s “Restaurant Impossible” to shut its doors.

The episode on the south Texas mom-and-pop diner is scheduled to air in March but the restaurant might not even get its 15 minutes of fame.

The hit-and-run caused $6,000 in damages plus the cost of wasted food, forcing the owner to shut the business down– leaving his 10 employees out of work.

The Houston Chronicle reports that it’ll take at least a month for the restaurant to reopen.  No word if it’ll be open before the episode airs on The Food Network.
